§ 43.1. Authority to acquire land for purpose of improving Grange Road.

The City of Port Wentworth be, and is, hereby authorized and empowered to acquire title to such lands in Grange subdivision in the City of Port Wentworth, either by negotiation and purchase, or by gift, or by condemnation proceedings instituted and conducted in the manner now authorized by law, as may be deemed by the governing authority of said city to be needful or necessary or proper, for purposes of widening, repairing, paving and/or otherwise improving Grange Road in the City of Port Wentworth.
