§ 19.1-10. Restrictions in residential zoning districts.

Other than subdivision entrance signs allowed under section 19.1-11, parcels located in residential zoning districts shall contain no more than one (1) non-illuminated sign having a sign area no greater than sixteen (16) square feet and shall have a height no greater than five (5) feet as measured from the grade level of the center line of the street adjacent to the parcel on which the sign is to be located. Signs meeting the standards of this section are exempt from permitting requirements.
