§ 15-17. Interference with business, etc., preventing persons from trading, etc., with licensed business; processions and other public demonstrations.

  • It shall be unlawful to promote, organize or hold, or to assist in organizing or holding, or to take part or participate in, any procession or other public demonstration in the streets or other public ways of the city, unless the participants therein shall request of the chief of police of the city a parade permit. At which time the participants shall state their names and addresses, the probable number of persons which will be engaged in such procession or other public demonstration, the purpose for which it is to be or being held or had, and the streets or other public ways upon or in which it is desired to have or hold such procession or public demonstration.
