§ 5.5-62. Fee applicable to holders of cable or video franchises issued by the State of Georgia.

The holder of any cable or video franchise issued by the State of Georgia shall pay a franchise fee of five (5) per cent of gross revenues generated within the corporate boundaries of the city, as authorized by the Consumer Choice for Television Act of 2007, currently codified at O.C.G.A. § 36-76-1 et seq.
